Position Summary:

The warehouse shipper/receiver will perform general physical activities to sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment. Manage verification, acceptance, counting, and inputting into the computer system of all incoming goods and their condition.

Essential Job Duties:

Shipping

  • Pick and pack items as per the picking list
  • Follow the procedures outlined for removing items from inventory and preparing the waybills
  • Ensure that dangerous goods are properly labelled and documented
  • Contact Couriers for end of day and/or next day pick ups
  • Coordinate Elliott Matsuura Canada Inc. products to and from trade shows
  • Receiving

  • Check off against the packing slip / advise notice that the part number and the quantities are correct and items are in good condition and document any damage and report
  • Put the parts away in their allocated locations
  • If there are any discrepancies notify the sales department of the sender (vendor)
  • Receive items into Sage through the EDI process for Elliott Matsuura Canada Inc. vendors and manually for local vendors
  • Create the required paperwork for receiving dangerous goods (if any) came in with the shipment
  • Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Competency with courier websites to create pickups and proper paperwork
  • Inventory experience
  • Forklift License
  • Bridge Crane Certification
  • Organized with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A team player who is self-motivated with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Desirable Qualifications:

  • Dangerous Goods Certification
  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience

    Service Engineers - Oakville, Ontario
     

    SERVICE ENGINEERS

       Requirements for: Toronto Area Service Engineers

       Electrical/Electronic Service Engineer (1)

    • Technical Education: Apprenticeship, Technical College or University Degree.
    • Minimum Five (5) Years of previous CNC trouble shooting experience is desirable.
    • Working knowledge of "G" Code programming highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with Fanuc, Yasnac, Heidenhain and Siemens controls necessary.
    • Familiarity with ladder editing and reading.
    • Knowledge of high speed machining processes.
    • Knowledge of machines adjustments.
    • Knowledge of machines accuracy tests procedure.
    • Ability to travel through Canada.
    • French language an asset for Montreal area.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Knowledge of PC and CAD/CAM an asset.

       Mechanical Service Engineer (2)

    • Technical Education: Apprenticeship, Technical College or University Degree.
    • Minimum Five (5) Years of previous trouble shooting experience is desirable.
    • Working knowledge of "G" Code programming highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with Fanuc, Yasnac, Heidenhain and Siemens controls desirable.
    • Knowledge of high speed machining processes.
    • Knowledge of machines adjustments.
    • Knowledge of machines accuracy tests procedure.
    • Ability to travel through Canada.
    • French language an asset for Montreal area.
    • Strong customer service orientation.

       Requirements for: Product Service Engineers. (1 Position)

    • Technical Education: Apprenticeship, Technical College or University Degree.
    • Minimum Five (5) Years of previous CNC trouble shooting experience is desirable.
    • Working knowledge of "G" Code programming highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with Fanuc, Yasnac, Heidenhain and Siemens controls necessary.
    • Familiarity with ladder editing and reading.
    • Knowledge of high speed machining processes.
    • Knowledge of spindle bearings replacement and high speed spindles.
    • Knowledge of machines adjustments.
    • Knowledge of machines accuracy tests procedure.
    • Ability to travel through Canada.
    • Italian and /or German language absolutely necessary.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Knowledge of PC and CAD/CAM an asset.
    • Extensive training at European manufactures (Italy and Germany) will be provided.

    Sales Position - Oakville, Ontario
     

    SALES POSITION AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

     

    Elliott-Matsuura Canada Inc. has an immediate opening for an exciting and fulfilling sales position in Ontario.

     

    In this position you will be responsible for sales activities in the designated territory including: the sales process, discovering leads, needs analysis for potential customers, designing and recommending a manufacturing solution, promoting that solution and maintaining a good relationship with customers.

     

    Successful candidates will be self-motivated, energetic, technical, a team player and must possess excellent communications and problem solving skills.  A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is an asset but not required.  Candidates with the following knowledge and skills will be given consideration:

     

    - Fabrication Equipment knowledge including: Lasers, Brakes, Shears, Punch Presses, and Waterjet Systems.

    - Must have working knowledge of reading mechanical engineered prints

    - Familiar with Windows based computers and software.

    - Familiar with customer databases for the purpose of reporting and follow-ups.

    - Work experience in the manufacturing or manufacturing sales environment for 3-5 yrs.

    - Good interpersonal and customer relation skills.

    Elliott Matsuura Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced professional with a thorough understanding of the EDM Machine Tool market and competition for a challenging full-time position.
    • Minimum 10 years sales management experience with proven sales objective track record utilizing prospecting skills and meeting targets.
    • Minimum 10 years sales experience with EDM machine market. 
    • Minimum 10 years technical experience with EDM processing and application engineering.
    • Thorough knowledge of the theory of EDM.
